Brainerd; his daughter Kristi Emard (Daniel) of Lake City; his grandchildren, Alexzander Emard and Lucas Sinkler; his siblings, Dale Sinkler (Maham Sundus) of Alabama, Bobbie Jo Ristau (Dave) of Alpena, Scott Sinkler of Montana, Larry "J. R." Sinkler, Jr. (Ronnie) of Ohio, Vicki Johnston (Jeff) of Gaylord, Jimmy Ristau of Alpena and Davey Ristau of Alpena; and his parents, Larry Sinkler (Gloria) and Beverly Rezendes of Alpena. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
