She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Pokorski and Stella Pokorski (Kraniak); her husbands, Peter Joseph Bassi Sr. and Carl Morrison; her children, Peter Bassi Jr., Julie Bassi and Karen Farley; her sons-in-law, Larry "Bubby" Steinley, Joe Smith, Ralph Farley and Richard "Dick" Ferns; and her grandson William Slaterline.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Bassi (Veronica) of Detroit, Pauline Ferns of Whittemore, Mary Smith of Indian River, Rose Farley of West Branch, Margie Currie (Dave) of Hale, Ron Bassi (Roma) of Hale, Regina Steinley of Turner and Steve Bassi (Michelle) of Turner. She is also survived by many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, a few great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be donated to St. James Catholic Church in Whittemore.
