He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin E. Bolen and Martha R. Bowen. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Jeanette "Jenny" Elizabeth Hone; his children, Eric Bolen and Dagny Bolen; his stepchildren, Sean McLennan and Tyah Lara; and his sister Katheryn Binder (Robert). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
