We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2023, at the age of 93, Alvera L. Hinkley of Turner, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John and Domenica (Ozzelo); her husband Robert Hinkley; her siblings, James, John, Charlie, Dominick, Leo Paul and Daisy Lorenz; her sisters-in-law, Wanda Giori and Katheryn Giori; her son Roger Hinkley; her daughters-in-law, Vickie Hinkley and Karen Hinkley; and her grandchildren, Jason Pace and Lexie Muckenthaler.
She is survived by: her children, John Hinkley, Bonnie Svanberg (Leonard), Mike Hinkley (Lisa) and James Konenski (Gwen); her grandchildren, Brent (Kacy), Brandy (Don), Bobbi, Dennis, Leonard (Michelle), Eric, Brittnee (Kyle), Roger (Heather), Kellsie, Lynsey (Steve), Stephanie, Michael (Katie), Jonah (Amber), Heather and Hunter (Sophia); her sister Mary Giori; her siblings-in-law, Bernie Lorenz and Perscilla Giori; and her close friend Lori. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren.
Burial will take place following the funeral at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Whittemore, Memorial contributions can be made to St. James Catholic Church or a charity of your choice.
