He was predeceased by: his parents, Abram "John" and Dorothy Newell (Rosebrock); and his sister Barbara Newell. He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Newell (Evelyn), Ann Peer, Cindy LeBaron, John Newell (Michelle) and Kenneth Newell (Carrie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
