Richard Arlan Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Arlan Smith of Trufant, Michigan, who passed away on October 26, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pat Smith and Erma Smith (Brooks); his wife Hazel Bogart; his children, Connie Batchelor (Bob) of Illinois, Nancy Mazak (Steve) of Ohio, Cindy White (Tim) of Greenville and Kevin Smith (Lisa) of Lowell; his grandchildren, Robert "Jamie" Batchelor, Joseph Batchelor, Thomas Batchelor, Katie Driggs (Bri), Christopher Bailey (Michelle), Cameron Bailey (Missy), Carter Bailey (Kelly), Paul Mazak (Kelly), Vanessa Beardslee (Aaron Lee), Jesse Beardslee (Brooke), Bill White, Joshua Smith and Brandon Smith; his siblings, Patricia Dolack and Charles Smith (Patty); and his sister-in-law Donna Nelson. He was also cherished by 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Due to the current pandemic, services will be delayed.
Memorial contributions may be given to Spectrum Health United Rehab and Nursing Center.
