She was predeceased by: her parents, Abram "John" Newell and Dorothy Newell; and her siblings, Barbara Newell, Richard and Robert Newell.

She is survived by: her former husband Donald Imhoff; her son Ronald Imhoff of Trufant; her husband Duane Peer; her daughter Peggy Imhoff of Paradise; and her siblings, John, Kenneth Newell and Cindy LeBaron. She is also survived by three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor may be given to the Montcalm County Animal Shelter.
