He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores (Kosmatka); his brothers, Richard (Eleanor) and Charles (Rose); and also, Ronald (Carol), Thomas, David and John.
He is survived by: his children, James (Linda), Robert (Deborah), Joseph (Mary Ann) and Carolyn Claerhout (Steve); his grandchildren, Bradley (Valerie), Jennifer (Steve), Rose (Sebastian), Jaclyn (Anton), Sarah, Steve (Makayla), Mitchell and Nicole; his sister-in-law Arlene Kosmatka O; and his son Troy. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons - Crooks (2600 Crooks Rd, Troy, MI 48084). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church (581 E 14 Mile Rd, Clawson, MI 48017).
