It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen James Short (Troy, Michigan), born in Royal Oak, Michigan, who passed away on July 12, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazen and Helen; his brothers, Bruce Short and Gary Short; and his niece Hollie Nacker.

He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Nichole (Tim), Bucko (Stephen James II) and Jimmy; his grandchildren, Michael, Lia and Clare; and his sister Anne. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
