He is survived by: his siblings, Christine Schmitt (Kerry), David (Therese) and Dennis (Joy Jury); his nieces and nephews, Dana Wagner (Ryan), Kayla Busuito (Christopher), Adam, Sarah and Rachel Fjerstad (Brandon); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Owen, Nolan and Fjerstad.
