With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Charlip of Troy, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Barry Charlip; her children, David Charlip (Maureen), Karen Laub (Brian Witus) and Julie Winkelman (Larry); her grandchildren, Amanda Polk (Justin), Jacob Charlip (Maggie), Ariel Regner (Nick Danowski), Jami Laub (Tanner Kiest), Sydney Laub, Ryan Laub, Alex Winkelman, Max Winkelman and Abby Winkelman; her great grandchildren, Jonah Polk and Brooklyn Polk; her sister Phyllis Katz (late Kenneth); and her mother Sylvia Pine.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ira Kaufman Chapel (18325 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Adat Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery (28500 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152). A shiva was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
