She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Roofe and Amanda Roofe of Rector; and her siblings, Edna, Audrey, Kathern, Bessie, Claudine, Robert, Wilton, Leon, Tom and Marshall Roofe (Doc).

She is survived by: her children, Michael Shelby of Michigan and Brenda Taylor (Larry) of Tennessee; her nieces, Debra Roberson and Edna Priest; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Taylor and Thomas Shelby. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well grand nieces and nephews.
