She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Isho Yacoub Salman; her children, Basima (Imad), Terez (Majid), Ikhlas (John), Basim (Dyana), Hanaa (Rojet), Salman (Aseel), Yacoub (Marlene), Rita (Waad), Afrah (John), Raghad (Raad), Tana (Alex) and Heba (Waddie); her parents, Francis Merkis and Katerina Hermiz; and her siblings, John, Mariam and George. She was also cherished by 26 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
