He was predeceased by: his child Iven; his parents, Mikhail Al-Atto and Twaitha Kizi; and his brother Johnny. He is survived by: his wife Magda Gabriel Qasha; his children, Justin, Janothan, Marilyn and Miranda; and his siblings, Kalila (Jalal Arabwa), Saadi (Hanan Shaeer), Bassam (Hoda Dali), Ikhlas (Fayeq Mikhail), Khairy (Luban Koja) and Thamer Al-Atto (Olivia Ishaqi).
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (2442 E Big Beaver Rd, Troy, MI 48030). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the White Chapel Cemetery (621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098). A reception was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Chaldean Catholic Church (2442 E Big Beaver Rd, Troy, MI 48030).
