He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Marie and Regina "Virginia" Marie. He is survived by: his wife Carol Hein; his children, Michael Hein (Alisha) and Kathleen Durak (Ronald); his grandchildren, Connor Durak, Riley Durak, Liam Hein and Zoey Hein; his siblings, Gary Hein, Carlene Przykucki and Nancy Bergquist; his nephew Robert Bergquist; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Przykucki and Bob Bergquist. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons - Price Chapel (3725 Rochester Rd, Troy, MI 48083). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church (581 E 14 Mile Rd, Clawson, MI 48017).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made to the Wounded Warriors.
