He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Helmick and Clara Helmick; and his brother Richard Helmick. He is survived by: his wife Colleen Moccia Helmick; his sons, Barry Helmick (Katie) and Troy Helmick (Lisa); and his sisters, Carol Brooks (late Whit) and Judy Gander (Earl). He is also survived by extended family, including many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
