He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Melistas and Hariklia Melistas; his siblings, Panagiota Souzas (Kosta), Pete Melistas (Angela), Voula Hanges (Paul) and Tom Melistas (Samantha); his wife Georgia; his son Christos (Natasha); his grandchildren, Dimitri, Paraskevi and Mitso; and his brothers-in-law, Christos Kontomitsos (Vasso) and Nicholas Kontomitsos (Katerina). He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
