He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn; his parents, Hugh Flynn and Ella Flynn; and his siblings, Tim Flynn, Pat Flynn and Ginny Flynn.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dave Flynn, John Flynn, Mary Flynn Meyers and Jeanne Flynn; and his children, Bridget Flynn (Dave Sarnacki), Betsy Flynn, Katie Heyward (John), Molly Lutz (Richard), Mike Flynn (Debby), Pat Flynn (Patsy), Jim Flynn and Megan Johnston (Chris). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
