She was predeceased by: her husband James Burton Westerby; her grandchild Linsi Westerby; her siblings, Howard Counsell (late Linda), Joan Case (late Ron), Frank Counsell (late Carole), Donald Counsell (Shirley), Ronald Counsell (Alesia) and Barbara Soule (Steve); and her parents, James Counsell and Thelma Counsell.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Westerby (Sandra) and Joni Yates (Kirk); her grandchildren, Conner Westerby, Trevor Westerby, Landon Westerby, Sydney Yates and Grayson Yates; and her siblings, Diana Martin (late Tommy) and Michael Counsell (late Robin). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Potere-Modetz Funeral Home (339 Walnut Blvd, Rochester, MI 48307). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
