We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2024, at the age of 91, Benedetto Rodi (Troy, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietroantonio Rodi and Ersilia Sofia; and his siblings, Lucia (Giuseppe D'Agostino), Maria (Massimino Tomasso), Francesco and Angelo (Denise).
He is survived by: his brother Antonio; his wife Laura Lanni; his children, Silvia Merucci (Joseph), Rossana Grubb (David), Delia Rodi-Barczys (David) and Marco Rodi (Vicki); his grandchildren, Laura (Ryan Jakubowski), Giuseppe, Roberto (Mattina), Maria Merucci, Sabrina, Elise, Sara Grubb, Massimo, Dario, Gabriela Barczys, Ben and Daniela Rodi; and his great grandchildren, Carlo Jakubowski and Armando Merucci.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons - Price Chapel (3725 Rochester Rd, Troy, MI 48083). A rosary was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (280 E Square Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48085). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
