He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietroantonio Rodi and Ersilia Sofia; and his siblings, Lucia (Giuseppe D'Agostino), Maria (Massimino Tomasso), Francesco and Angelo (Denise).

He is survived by: his brother Antonio; his wife Laura Lanni; his children, Silvia Merucci (Joseph), Rossana Grubb (David), Delia Rodi-Barczys (David) and Marco Rodi (Vicki); his grandchildren, Laura (Ryan Jakubowski), Giuseppe, Roberto (Mattina), Maria Merucci, Sabrina, Elise, Sara Grubb, Massimo, Dario, Gabriela Barczys, Ben and Daniela Rodi; and his great grandchildren, Carlo Jakubowski and Armando Merucci.
