He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Bixby and Ferne H. Flanders (Keinfeldt); and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his wife Astrid (Kessler); his daughters, Ingrid Flanders of Portland and Sandra Griffith of Woodstock, Illinois; his son-in-law Jeffrey Griffith; his grandchildren, Elsbeth Flanders, Caleb Huth, Laurel Huth, Kate Wignes (Brad), Dean Griffith (Heather) and Korinne Griffith; and his great grandchild Beau Kessler Wignes. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
