Leighton Carlisle Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leighton Carlisle (Trout Creek, Michigan), who passed away on October 30, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leighton D. Carlisle and Selma Johnson (Thompson); his siblings, Dale Carlisle, Melvin Johnson, Rened Tooley, Marjorie Elsner, Elizabeth Dishaw and Evelyn Moffitt; and his brothers-in-law, Wilbert Perttula and John Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Joan A. Carlisle (Olson); his children, Leighton "Jim" Carlisle III (Jean) of Humboldt Twp, Catherine E. Taylor (Robert) of Chatham and Sally Jo Stoddard (Joseph) of Lake City, MI; his grandchildren, Tristan Hurkmans, Cheyenne (Dan), Tobi Taylor, Zack Taylor (Lisa), Bree Galloway (Adam), Kaci Flaugher (Tony) and Katrina Zumpf (Matt); his great grandchildren, Luke, Zoe Taylor, Autumn, Elijah Flaugher, Penelope Denman, Kallahan Oswald, Cole Brownell, Jagger Galloway, Anistaisa and Sophia Zumpf; his siblings, Milton Albaugh (Pat) and Lois Perttula; and his brother-in-law Paul Olson (Virginia). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
