He was predeceased by: his parents, Loretta H. Nankervis and John Nankervis; and his brother Jackie. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Nankervis (Johnson); his former wife Carol Nankervis; his daughters, Nancy Brown and Melissa Parks; his son-in-law John Parks; his grandchildren, Josephine Teachout, Leilani Parks, Lainey Brown and Robert Brown IV; his sister Joyce Turin; his sons, John Nankervis and Christopher Anderson; and his sisters, Shirley Sterns and Elaine Ameluxen.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family (3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of St. James Epsicopal Church (25150 E River Rd, Grosse Ile Township, MI 48138).
In lieu of flowers, consider donations to Saint James Episcopal Church on Grosse Ile, where Tom served as an inspiration and mentor to so many, through his 39 years of sober service and dedication to the Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) program.
