He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Kinzler and Sadie Kinzler (Wynne); his wife Tomine "Ann" Kinzler; and his sisters, Joyce Kinzler (Robert) and Joan Jesonowski (Francis).
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Kinzler (Rosario), Tina Miller (James), Christina Kinzler and Katrina Kinzler; his grandchildren, Vanessa Chauca (Mark), Brandt Kinzler, Austin Kinzler, Kenneth Kinzler, Kirk Kinzler, Elyse Miller, Eliana Kinzler and James Miller; his great grandchildren, Adalyn Chauca, Alana Chauca and Adriana Chauca; and his brother Gordon Kinzler (Mary).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family (3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183). A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Scapular Catholic Church (976 Pope John Paul II Ave, Wyandotte, MI 48192). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alcoholics Anonymous, a cause Richard deeply cared about as he founded many of the Alcoholics Anonymous meetings in the Downriver area.
