He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Czernik and Joann Czernik (Baron); his fathers-in-law, Wayne Manzo and Rayford; and his brother-in-law Scott Moos (Starr).
He is survived by: his wife Jamie R. Manzo; his sons, Matthew Lawrence and Andrew John; his mother-in-law Pamela Wooden; his sister-in-law Donyale Paillon (Lyle); and his nieces, Amanda, Alexis Cosby (Brad), Maranda Moos (Darrin), Ashlyn Paillon, Samantha Moos, Kyle Moos and Alyssa Paillon.
During his tenure, he made significant contributions to the City of Romulus, working undercover in the narcotics division and shaping future officers as a Field Training Officer (FTO).
