It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Joan Grooms in Trenton, Michigan, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 7, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Gibson and Josie Gibson; and her siblings, Herbert, Bryan and Patricia.
She is survived by: her husband John Grooms; her daughters, Laura Read (Thomas) and Sherry Ohlarik (Steve); her grandchildren, Sarah Grooms-Sharbnow (Drew Tyra) and Devin Grooms-Sharbnow; her great grandchildren, Savannah, Xavier and Zeevah; and her sister Sheila Baroni.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home (30895 W Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (30895 W Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134).
