He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mathews and Dorothy Mathews (Herrmann); and his siblings, James Mathews and Carol Mathews. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Mathews; his children, Brandon Mathews (Allison Stillar) and Diane Maury (Xavier); his niece Jill Corcoran (Tom); his grandchildren, Celia, Robin, Kiera and Lena Maury; his great-niece Taylor Mcclain (Caleb); and his great-nephew Bryce Corcoran.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bobcean Funeral Home (26307 Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA) or the Flat Rock First United Methodist Church.
