With solemn reverence, we commemorate Zara Louise Hansen of Traverse City, Michigan, whose life came to an end on March 4, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Edgar and Ruby "Zelda" Barner (Wolverton); her brother-in-law Robert Meachum; and her great grandchild Noah Goff. She is survived by: her husband Woody; her children, Roberta Goff (Dan) and Daniel Hansen (Valerie); her grandchildren, Megan Verslius (Adam), Ryan Goff, Brandon Goff, Danielle Springall and Matthew Hansen; and her siblings, Donald "Keith" Barner (Margo), Patsy Meachum, Sharon "Jean" Fritz (Ed) and Gregory Barner. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, numerous extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the West Bay Covenant Church (12720 S W Bay Shore Dr, Traverse City, MI 49684). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
