Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Walter George Pieschke Jr. of Traverse City, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 103, on September 21, 2024. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marion, William, Robert and Carol; and his son-in-law Lanny Haven.
He is survived by: his significant other Anna Maxine; his children, Walter Pieschke III (Marilyn) of Farmington, Dennis Pieschke (Virginia) of Charleston, Cheryl "Cherrie" Haven of Kingsley and Cathie Morrison (Tim) of Williamsburg; and his brother-in-law Merrill Parsons. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bible Baptist Church (1915 Cass Rd, Traverse City, MI 49685).
In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations in honor of Walter Pieschke may be made to the nonprofit Nativity Legacy, 1802 Lake Pointe Dr., Traverse City, MI 49686 (this is also the mailing address for any condolence cards or deliveries).
