He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, David Newcomb, Dee Alison, Debra Sue and Diane Kay; his grandchildren, Kai, Trevor, Carly and Erin; and also, Pia and Soren.

His request was that any memorial donations be made to the Suttons Bay Congregational Church.
