We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2024, at the age of 76, Shyrl Lea Sanford of Traverse City, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shyrl Lea Sanford to pay them a last tribute.
Though Shyrl may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shyrl touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Thomas and Shirley Thomas. She is survived by: her siblings, Bill Thomas (Bev) and Deb Tharp (Dave); and her nieces and nephews, Shawn Thomas (Jenn), Shannon LaCross (Larry) and Scott Thomas.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens (3575 Veterans Dr, Traverse City, MI 49684).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 2780 or the Cherryland Humane Society.
