It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Lee DeKuiper of Traverse City, Michigan, who passed away on May 3, 2024, at the age of 22, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Harlee Suttner, Stanley DeKuiper and Melvin Price; his uncles, Joe Jones and Lee Buechel; and his cousin Myles Hess.
He is survived by: his parents, Dennis DeKuiper and Brenda DeKuiper (Suttner); his sister Cassidy; his grandmothers, Patricia DeKuiper and Shirley Price; his aunts and uncles, Doug DeKuiper (Carla), Paula Jones, Nancy Modd (Tom), Jeff Suttner (Therese), Shelly Nadler (Leon), Sherry Buechel (John Walters), Connie Hess (Pat) and John Suttner (Denyse); and also, Thomas, Lisa Schermerhorn, Michael and Sara Schermerhorn. He is also survived by many other cousins, family members.
