He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Lucki and Anne Wenzel (Krajenka); and his siblings, Delores Leonetti, Elaine Carlson and Paul Wenzel.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Wenzel (Franklin); his children, Kim Young (James) of Clinton Township, Christopher R. Wenzel of Morrill and Craig Wenzel (Heather) of Chesterfield Township; his grandchildren, Danielle Young (Bobby), Jason Young (Becca), Lauren Enfroy (Alex), Joshua Young (Lexi) and Jessica Wenzel; his great grandchild Claire Young; and his sister Eleanor Simpson. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
