It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Blaine Steiger (Traverse City, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Steiger Richardson (Van Pelt) and Claude Steiger; and his wife Nancy Steiger (Kanitz). He is survived by: his children, Thomas Dickson Steiger of San Diego, California, Jana Louise Steiger of Washington, D. C. and Laura Jane Steiger; his son-in-law George Gillespie (Chip); and his grandson Dylan Patrick Gillespie of Palm City.
