It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lee Kirby of Traverse City, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on August 17, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Francis and Clara Drusilla Kirby (Bachman). He is survived by: his daughter Dru Ellen Orbeck; his wife Judy; his children, Laurie Perry (Tony), Rick Kirby and David Kirby; his brother James Kirby; and his stepbrother John Doughty. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
