It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Edmond Jakee of Traverse City, Michigan, who passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parent Bonny Jakee; his brother Randy Jakee; and his son Matthew Lee Jakee. He is survived by: his father Richard Edmond Jakee Sr.; his sons, Adam and Ricky Selby; and his granddaughters, Elissa Jakee, Kaylee Hiltwein and Camrick Selby Rick.
