He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard P. Barrett and Lois High Barrett. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Claude Vander Ploeg (Donna), Jon Vander Ploeg (Pam), Julie Bolton (Jim) and Susan Ewing. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
