It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond James Collins Jr. of Traverse City, Michigan, born in Manistee, Michigan, who passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Collins and Phoebe Collins (Culver); and his brothers-in-law, William Brown and Charles "Topper" Carey. He is survived by: his children, Hayley Mercéus-Collins (James) and Joel Collins; his sisters, Rosemarie "Posie" Brown, Marion "Lou" Fay (Larry), Phoebe "Lorrie" Collins DeVol and Nina Merten (Stephen); his close friend Mary "Cookie" Brackenrich; and also Morgan Collins.
