With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Murna Mary Courtad (Traverse City, Michigan), who passed away on June 6, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Brown and Ceolia Brown (Sogge); her half-sisters, Leola Hockin Antor Black and Laureen Towers; and her granddaughter Dyllan Courtad.
She is survived by: her husband Aloysius Courtad; her children, Dianne Thompson (Jim) of Traverse City, Gregory Courtad of Puma Valley, CA, Lorraine Courtad of Traverse City and Margaret Weinzapfel (Ben) of Traverse City; her grandchildren, Tricia Martin (Kelly), Jacob Courtad and Vanessa Weinzapfel; her great grandchildren, Carley Allen Potes, Ashley, Skylar and Zoe Martin; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Frankie, Joan Romis and Delores Kress.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Cancer Research, Immaculate Conception Pantry Ministry, or the Father Fred Foundation.
