It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louise Elizabeth Ruoff of Traverse City, Michigan, born in Mancelona, Michigan, who passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Strauss and Margaret Strauss (Sutter); her husbands, Joseph Couturier, Perry and Conrad; her daughter Victoria Martin; her son-in-law Michael "Tony" Martin; and her siblings, Alan "Bud" Strauss, Robert Strauss, Mary Lund, Julia Dreves and Eileen Edmonds.
She is survived by: her children, Roxanne Thompson, Joseph Couturier (Linda), Rhonda Kochevar (Tony), Randall Couturier, Pamela Collins (Mike), Michael Couturier (Ann) and James Couturier (Hiromi); her stepsons, James Nink, Thomas Nink (Marge), Richard Nink (Thela), Randall Nink and David Nink; her brothers, Larry Strauss (Sandee) and David Strauss (Dollie); and her siblings-in-law, Millie Strauss, Fred Dreves and Joe Edmonds. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great-grandchildren, as well as extended family and friends.
