It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louise Elizabeth Kane (Traverse City, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph C. Rode and Agnes Rode (Wacha); and her children, Mary Franczek (Kane) and Michael Kane. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Kane (Jean), Teresa DeBella (Joseph) and Barbara Kane (Robert McGinley); her grandchildren, Cassalyn Spangler (Aaron), Christopher Ouellette (Rachel) and Angela DeBella; her great grandchildren, Jack Ouellette and Gabe Ouellette; her siblings, Joseph Rode (Gania) and Barbara Bonham; her brother-in-law George Boonstra; her sisters, Frances Boonstra and Carolyn Shields; and her brother-in-law Melvin Bonham. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
