She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Michels and Theresa Michels (Schaffer); and her siblings, Ruth Saxton, Roger Michels, Gordy Michels, Bob Michels and Nancy Novak.
She is survived by: her sisters, Beverly Maddox of Traverse City, Marlene Michels of Kentucky and Elaine Cizek of Traverse City. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
