It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry James Engel of Traverse City, Michigan, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl D. Engel and Grace Catherine Engel (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Lisa Engel (Shinn); his children, James Bowdie Engel, Lawrence Shelby Engel (Heather), Allie Catherine Sawyer (Keary) and Blakley Danielle Greiner (Bradley); and his grandchildren, Nick, Avery, Cameron, Ethan, Noah Engel, Nate Cruz, Colton Sawyer, Reilly and Maddilyn Sullivan.
