He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanford "Bayard" Gum and Glendoline "Sue" Gum (Wilfong). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Zane and Zoe; his sister Dana Wright (Jim); and his parents-in-law, Neil and Bobbie Akey. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
