She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Shields and Dorothy V. Shields (Suchon). She is survived by: her brother George Shields (Virginia); her sister-in-law Dolores Hutton Shields; her daughter Linda Gallivan; her grandson Michael Nelson; and her siblings, Dorothy Breen, William, Patrick, Raymond and Harold Shields.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 7:30 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home - River Park (2528 E Mishawaka Ave, South Bend, IN 46615). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church (2320 E Jefferson Blvd, South Bend, IN 46617).
Memorial Contributions, in Kathleen's name, may be made to St. Jude Hospital, Ronald McDonald House or St. Anthony Catholic Church.
