It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ka-Gagi-Jingwak Shomin of Traverse City, Michigan, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Raphael; and his grandparents, Howard, Elsie Raphael, Francis and Vivian Shomin.
He is survived by: his mother Judy Shomin; his daughter Gabriella Hall; and his siblings, Iris Hilts (Justin), Kitchi-Kishap Shomin (Deanna Hall), Noodin Shomin, Rudy Shomin, Elijah Shomin, Christine Shomin, Eilleen Shomin and Reign Shomin. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Strongheart Center (2700 Strong Heart Way Rd, Suttons Bay, MI 49682). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
