She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Straubel and Anna Straubel (Backes); and her husband Clark H. Benedict. She is survived by: her sons, Mark Benedict (Bernice), Kenton Benedict (Colleen), Timothy Benedict (Richard Hall) and John Benedict (Nikki); her grandchildren, Jay, Anne, Josh, Bridgette, Tracey, Kyle, Alyssa, Kylie, Natalie and Halle; and her sister Mary Sweet (Ron).
