He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett D. Tobin and Marguerite K. Tobin; his sister Marilyn Cavanaugh; his niece Susan Suwyn; and his sister-in-law Sue Laux.
He is survived by: his wife Joy; and his children, Christy and Douglass. He is also survived by four grandchildren and other family members.
