He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Rodes and Pauline Rodes. He is survived by: his wife Sandy of Mary's Catholic Church; his grandchildren, Jeff, Chris Rodes, Joe Rodes (Kristin Powers), Julie Rodes, Jennifer Davis (Ryan), Josh Niewiadomski (Jenn), Erin Greco (Matt) and Kyle Rodes; his great grandchildren, Joey, Sawyer Hill and Kateri Davis; his siblings-in-law, Fran Kolenic and Doris Rodes; his pet Missy; his in-laws, Bernie, Eva Clare Weber, Lester and Maria Radiske; his siblings, Don, Jim Rodes, Dorothy Cox and Joan Kolenic; and his siblings-in-law, Phil Cox, Don Radiske and Marilyn Rodes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (1025 S Union St, Traverse City, MI 49684).
