He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Lyle and Mary Estelle Sheridan (Bloswick); his wife Ruth A. Eichstadt; his siblings, Irene Richardson, Louis Sheridan (Bud), Joyce Sheridan and Theodore Sheridan (Ted); and his former wife Suzanne Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Jean Sheridan of Maple City, Janet Jeffs (Brian) of Bath and John Sheridan Jr. of Traverse City; his grandchildren, Brenna Jeffs, Alicia Kenney (Ben), Daniel Sheridan and Christine Lyttle (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Skylar, Ben and Brenden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and step-children.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Cherryland Humane Society.
